How to play
A village where every building has a resident
The village is a small isometric world seen from above. You walk your character through the streets and click a building to go in. Each zone has its own resident and opens at a certain level, so the village grows as you level up.
In each zone you answer multiple choice questions. After each answer the game explains, in one or two lines, why the right answer is right. That explanation is the whole point: this is a financial literacy game, not a game of loose trivia.
The question bank covers 25 topics: crypto, stocks, funds and ETFs, macroeconomics, personal finance, bonds, real estate, tax, credit, renting, FIRE, dividends, inheritance, anonymity, arbitrage, shortcuts and schemes, wallets and security, mining, staking, tokenomics, metals and more. There are 1,195 questions in English and 1,192 in Portuguese, graded by difficulty, and the bank keeps growing.
Aldeia Lucrar replaced the 2022 quiz, which was a 50 MB download and asked for a wallet before the first question. The village asks for nothing: it lets you play first.
Progress
Levels, energy and the ways to play
Points and levels
Right answers give INT, the game's name for experience points. The maximum level is 50 and your character changes its look along the way.
Energy
Each question costs one unit. Energy starts at 18 and grows with your level up to 40. It recovers little by little, one unit at a time, and is full again in about 5 hours. Hover over the energy and the game tells you how long is left.
Schoolhouse and Post office
At The Schoolhouse, Miss Elisa runs a round made only of the questions you got wrong: the best way to learn is to look at your mistakes again. The Schoolhouse and the Post office open once every 24 hours.
The final challenge, in the Sky
The last floor only opens at level 50. That is where the final challenge against Workolic is, and you need full energy to take it.
Daily challenge
Only for players with an email account, once a day: ten questions, the same for everyone that day. It counts for today's board in the Investors' Tournament, but it gives no experience towards levelling up.
Boards and duels
There are two boards, on the Week and Month tabs: the weekly one adds up the intelligence earned since Monday, the monthly one counts your best round of the month. To join you need to pick a name.
You can already see other players moving around the village. To challenge someone, walk up to another player on the map and choose a normal duel or a live duel. In a live duel both players answer at the same time: 5 questions, 15 seconds each, with no energy spent. The challenged player has 24 hours to accept or decline, in the Duels waiting for you list in the corner of the screen.
Your account
From level 3 the game asks for your email to save your progress, and says why. Anyone who played without an email can merge that progress into a new account. An existing email account cannot have another one merged on top of it.
Map
The six floors
The Village is the first floor. There are five more, each with its own look, residents and topics. They open as you level up, and the last one, the Sky, only at the maximum level.
| Floor | Opens at level | Zones and residents |
|---|---|---|
| Village | 1 | Main Square (Marta, the guide), Village Bank (Mr. Osorio), Market (Mrs. Fatima), The Schoolhouse (Miss Elisa), Exchange (Nuno, the broker), Fund House (Ines), Vault (Old Bento), Crypto Tower (Kai), Daily challenge and Post office (Postman). |
| Roots | 8 | Worksite (Builder), Mortgage (Broker), Tax Register (Tax Adviser) and Keys (Landlord).Real estate, credit, tax and renting. |
| Moon | 18 | Crater (Miner), Rocket (Founder), Tide (Validator) and Eclipse (Lookout).Mining, crypto and security. |

| Abyss | 45 | Inheritance (Nameless, level 45), Arbitrage (Shape, level 47), Anonymity (Faceless, level 48) and Shortcut (Masked, level 49). |
| Sky | 50 | The last floor, only at the maximum level: the final challenge against Workolic. |
Exchange
The AI course, inside the game
At the Exchange, Nuno shows the course Build and track your portfolio with AI: the full course, with 13 modules and 18 lessons, the Holygrail AI app, Patreon plan 3 for 12 months and, for founders only, a visit from Gustavo.
The founding class has 30 places, and the game shows the places left in real time. Players who do not have the course see an I am interested button, which opens a form inside the game to join the course list. When the places run out, the button becomes Join the waiting list.
Players who have the course get the Joker status.
The Exchange Key
The Exchange Key costs 5000 LCR from the game balance and is handed to Workolic.
If Workolic accepts, the player gets access to the AI course. If Workolic declines, the player keeps the key, but the LCR spent does not come back.
Across the floors
The special buildings
Besides the question zones, each floor has buildings with a purpose of their own.
Characters
Eight characters, five stages
You choose your character. Its stage changes on its own as you level up: youngling (1 to 7), adult (8 to 17), veteran (18 to 29), master (30 to 44) and legend (45 onwards). The master gets a skirt and a simple crown; the legend gets a cape, an ermine collar and a bigger crown.
Four characters are available from the first question: Villager, Bookkeeper, Stallholder and Saver. The other four open at the levels where the next floors open: Miner at 8, Watchwoman at 18, Blacksmith at 30 and Master Builder at 45.
Neither the character nor the stage gives any advantage: no points, no energy and no LCR. And none of them is an image file: they are all drawn by the game's own code.
Statuses
Five cards, one for each way in
Each status is a different card and is tied to something real in the project. It sits on top of the character: it changes the look and sets a minimum stage.
| Status | Who has it | Minimum stage | How it looks |
|---|---|---|---|
| King | the manager | legend (45) | Golden clothes, red cloak, five pointed crown, sceptre and the only golden aura in the game. |
| Investor | anyone with a CAEP contract | legend (45) | The legend stage, with a green aura. |
| Joker | anyone with the AI course | master (30) | Three pointed jester hat with bells. |
| Jack | Patreon member | 20 | Beret with a feather. |
| Queen | student of any course | 10 | Light three lobed tiara. |
Statuses give no advantage at all. No points, no energy and no LCR: they are only looks, and the plan is to keep it that way. This is not a pay to win game. Nobody drops a card, and experience keeps counting from the minimum stage, so a status is a permanent privilege and not a dead end.
The game and the token
Where LCR comes in
The game is free and you do not need a wallet to play. The game itself sends no blockchain transactions.
LCR in the game is an internal platform balance: there is no swap, it does not touch the chain and it creates no trading volume. Anyone can deposit LCR from their wallet into the game, but it is a one way trip.
Patreon members who play from the members' area earn LCR for their progress, up to 500 LCR a month, the same on every plan, and the monthly challenge gives 10 LCR to whoever wins it. The members' area shows the character, the level, the balance and a statement of every movement side by side.
Inside the game, LCR is used in two places: at the Market counter, where it is used to get Patreon plan discount codes (5% for 40 LCR, 10% for 100, 20% for 150, 30% for 200 and 40% for 300), and for the Exchange Key, which costs 5000 LCR. Both run on the same members' area balance, so what you earn playing and what you spend come from the same place.
Any new way of earning LCR in the game is announced before it exists.
In the village
The Old NFTs
In one corner of the village there is a house called Old NFTs, and inside it is the whole collection of 121 Lucrar Pass, from #1 to #121.
The passes in your wallet show in colour. The ones you do not hold are colourless and almost transparent: you can see they exist, but they are not yours.
Each of your passes has a button to redeem LCR, between 100 and 970 depending on rarity: the pass type, how many extras it has filled in and whether its number is in the Fibonacci sequence. Each pass can be redeemed only once, forever, even if it changes hands, and this LCR sits outside the monthly cap.
Here too the wallet is only read: the game sees which of the 121 passes are yours and asks for nothing else.
Next
What comes next in the game
The order of work is this: first what works with one player, then what needs many.
- Explanations for all the older questions, and more questions written from the founder's material.
- A house of your own that only you can see: you buy it with LCR on the Roots floor, in the real estate zone, and inside it energy recovers 1.5 times faster.
Notice. Lucrar tokens and NFTs are not securities, so operations on them are not subject to the rules that apply to investor protection for securities. The game is free and you do not need a wallet to play. LCR in the game is an internal balance: it does not leave the game. This page is for information only and is not a recommendation to buy.
